yo everyone !!! ten years ago (an eternity nowadays) we put out the first cassius track ever. it was called >cassius 99< and it was the first single from our debut album. 1999?.it was also one of our biggest hits. its ten years later now and knowing we have our own label and own our back catalogue we absolutely couldnt resist putting it out again as some kind of >10th anniversary release<. resistance to remix it was weak so we remastered the original and asked producers we really appreciated to give it a go and do their own version of this oldie/goldie.

here we have one slice of electro badness & one dubstep remix! on remix duty, giant pussy have seduced helsinki-based dub-stepper extraordinaire, tes la rok, into their kinky boudoir. his re-work of pocket rocket is a beast of a no holds-barred reggae-tacular bleep-fest. tes stays true to the vibe of the original but buries it in a bass-odyssey of a tune. heavy-weight sounds indeed from the finnish maestro.

another big release for tim xavier on ltd400! tim keeps up the momentum with his next installation, featuring two floor-burning conceptual tunes. on the a side, no day like thursday is a colorful and mixable track with tims signature dark percussion, complete with a layer of manipulated, warped synthesizer pitches on top. the result resembles something like an out-of-thisworld harp, and the combination of these ideas result in a timeless, psychedelic minimal sound that makes this release unique and irresistible. the flip side is yellow corvette a nice, moody mixer with eerie vocals, chuggy percussion, and a big room bass-line
